Motherboard Review: ECS GF7050VT-M5

ECS GF7050VT-M5
Value motherboard with 45nm processors support

nVidia MCP73V is the right choice for people who want to build value class PC. ECS have launched GF7050VT-M5 motherboard that use this chipset.

ECS GF7050VT-M5 support 45nm processors with 1333MHz FSB. It use onboard graphic card GeForce 7050 combined with 610i chipset. 610i controlled 1 PATA port and 4 SATA ports. The SATA ports already support SATA RAID 0 (stripping) and 1 (mirroring). Not bad for value class motherboard.

This motherboard still have some old-fashioned features like serial port (COM) and 10/100Mbps ethernet port. It only have 6 channels audio.

There's no special features of this motherboard. Just like other value class motherboard from ECS. Not so fast, but stable. Maybe the only added value of this motherboard is Core 2 Quad processors support.
