Tecra-tonic
Based on Intel's new Centrino 2 Platform, the Toshiba 15.4-inch Tecra M10 and 14.1-inch Tecra A10 laptops make it easier to take care of business. Each portable included Intel vPro business-friendly technology, a Webcam that doubles as a business-card reader, an external Serieal ATA/USB 2.0 combo ports, and Sleep-and-Charge USB ports for juicing up smartphones. Both notebooks come with fingerprint reader and spill-resistant keyboards, and they use Toshiba's EasyGuard technology, which protects hard drives from falls. The Tecra M10 starts at $1,399, but pricing for the A10 was not available at press time. Toshiba, www.toshiba.com.
